Job Summary
The FMS (Facilities
Maintenance Specialist) role is to provide overall support for the facilities
department in providing custodial, minor maintenance, first level monitoring,
operation and troubleshooting of equipment and systems. Shipping and receiving, and inventory
functions as well as other duties and responsibilities assigned by the
department. They must do this in a
manner consistent with FORTRUST’ overall objective to provide outstanding customer
service to internal and external customers.
Other responsibilities include:
o Responsibility for the over all cleanliness and up
keep of the interior and exterior of the building including controlled areas
where housekeeping standards will be extensive. The FMS will be responsible to assist with routine
maintenance and a variety of facility, and grounds maintenance tasks, and
additionally the operation of equipment to support these tasks.
o
Responsibility
for the inventory of stored equipment for various Fortrust departments, and
customers. The position will be
responsible for ordering and maintaining proper inventory amounts of cleaning
supplies, maintenance items, and other consumables as directed by direct
supervisors.
Other job requirements
o Working in a 7x24 environment, call in and responding
outside of normal business hours may be required

Educational/Qualification
